Job Purpose:

Room attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms and public areas. You will also address clients' queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean, and inviting at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain an excellent standard of cleanliness of the property at all times.
• Making beds.
• Replacing used towels.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning bathrooms.
• To be well organized.
• Refill bathroom amenities.
• Maintain closet inventory in the building you are scheduled.
• To cope with bending, lifting, and moving often.
• Be careful not to knock over or break anything in the rooms.
• To work with people at all levels.
• To follow procedures and pay attention to detail.
• To work well as part of a team.
• Make sure the rooms are ready for 3 PM Arrival.
• Assists in other areas as directed.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the inn and may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
• Comply with The Porches Inn standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Perform any other duties as requested by the leadership team.
