Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks a registered nurse for a seasonal per diem role. The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care, performing comprehensive assessments and following standards of care to meet patient outcomes.

This position requires Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and NIHSS training as available. The assignment covers October 2026 through May 2027 with a minimum of three shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license is required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• NIHSS training or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• The RN plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care while providing a holistic view of patient care.
• Assessment involves collecting information to develop a comprehensive standard of care.
• Follow established nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures in administering care.
• Initial assessments establish a baseline for future comparisons to tailor care.
• Ongoing assessment and reassessment to meet changing patient needs.
• RN ensures accurate documentation, supplies, and is knowledgeable in equipment operation.
• RN acts as educator to peers, patients, and families to support service excellence.
