Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking an RN for Progressive Care (PCU) on a seasonal, full-time schedule. You’ll support a 28-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, handling post‑surgical and critical care cases in a dynamic Acute Care/PCU setting.

Seasonal staff may convert to core roles; eligible for sign-on bonuses in qualifying departments, with robust benefits including health insurance and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a clinical nursing role in Acute Care/PCU required.
• Acute care PCU experience preferred.
• RN licensure; BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process across the PCU.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures and coordinate care with the inter-disciplinary team.
• Document patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
