Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a seasonal night shift. The role supports a 28-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, handling post-cardiac surgery, Cath Lab cases, and various high-acuity conditions.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with the healthcare team, and adherence to protocols. Seasonal contracts may convert to core staff with benefits, sign-on eligibility, and a robust package.

Qualifications

• RN license and 1+ years in Acute Care/PCU
• Experience caring for high-acuity patients and post-surgical care
• Proficiency in medication administration and vital signs monitoring
• Ability to respond to emergencies and use CPR/Code team protocols

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to implement care plans.
