St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of St. David’s HealthCare, seeks a Seasonal Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical and Renal care. You will deliver patient-centered nursing, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients to ensure outstanding outcomes and experiences.

You will assess, document, and implement orders, educate patients and families, and participate in hospital initiatives to advance nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Texas)
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date
• RN degree/diploma as listed above

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status at admission and during every shift.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, and follow-up.
