Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Nursing Flex Pool to provide adaptable, evidence-based care across inpatient units, including medical-surgical, orthopedic, and progressive care settings, while supporting dynamic staffing and patient needs. This temporary, full-time role expects onsite work with 36 hours per week and holiday shifts.

Candidates must hold an active NC or Compact RN license and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Active North Carolina or Compact RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under the direction of a physician, and collaborates with the care team to achieve expected outcomes.
• Delivers competent clinical nursing care and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Organizes and prioritizes care, coordinating resources for complex cases and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with peers in a clinical operations environment to promote communication.
• Synthesizes data to identify priorities in care, including discharge planning needs.
