City of Florissant, MO is seeking staff to assist with the operation of the municipal rink during the Spring-Summer and Fall-Wall seasons. The role supports staff, rentals, programs, and special events while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, supervising seasonal staff, scheduling, and handling cash and inventory. Prior recreation or customer service experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid and AED certifications are expected or

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Previous recreation, customer service, rink, or supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or in process of obtaining diploma.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain within 30 days after hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily rink operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervise and support seasonal rink staff and rink guards.
• Assist with scheduling, rentals, programs, leagues, and special events.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and equipment.
• Address routine patron concerns and report issues to the Rink Manager.
• Assist with cash handling, inventory, and basic administrative duties.
• Learn to operate daily equipment such as the Zamboni, ice edger, and power tools.
• Follow all department policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Perform other duties as requested.
