Job summary

City of Florissant invites applications for a Seasonal Assistant Rink Manager to support daily operations, customer service, rentals, and events at our municipal skating facility. You'll help supervise staff, assist with scheduling, and learn rink equipment such as Zamboni and ice edger, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for the community.

This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma or in process, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or in process of obtaining diploma.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• CPR/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily rink operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervise and support seasonal rink staff and rink guards.
• Assist with scheduling, rentals, programs, leagues, and special events.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and equipment.
• Address routine patron concerns and report issues to the Rink Manager.
• Assist with cash handling, inventory, and basic administrative duties.
• Learn to operate equipment such as Zamboni and ice edger.
