Job summary

Kohl’s is hiring for a customer service-oriented Associate to assist at the point of sale. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, handle payments, and help ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include balancing registers, supporting inventory accuracy, and assisting in training new team members while upholding Kohl’s brand standards. Flexible shifts required, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service mindset and the ability to multitask
• Experience operating a cash register or POS is a plus
• No prior retail experience required
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services
• Operate cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and process payments
• Maintain accurate and efficient POS and customer service standards
• Aim to meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty)
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices
• Assist in training new hires on POS procedures and Kohl’s brand standards
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing and replenishment
