Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Vendor Paid Merchandise Selling Support Colleague who will serve as a product expert for the vendor funding their role. You will assist customers with product selection, uphold selling floor standards, and ensure a neat, organized shopping environment while delivering a memorable Macy's experience.

This full-time role supports customer-readiness, drives sales through product knowledge, and collaborates with stores, vendors, and leadership to promote events and merchandise

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong merchandising skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers, peers and management.
• Basic math ability: add, subtract, multiply, and divide; able to use a calculator.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and collaborate as a team.

Responsibilities

• Make the customer the top priority and educate on product options.
• Assist with maintaining and recovering the selling floor with available sizes/colors/styles.
• Promote events and merchandise assortments to drive sales.
• Keep fitting rooms customer-ready and return items to the floor promptly.
• Maintain friendly, helpful customer experience expectations.
• Support department goals by executing Macy's initiatives to boost the business.
• Communicate with vendors and managers for sales and promotions.
• Adhere to safety and security policies and complete other tasks as needed.
