Five Below is seeking a part-time Seasonal Sales Associate to be in the heart of the action during the busy holiday season. You will deliver outstanding customer service while driving sales and keeping merchandise organized for easy checkout.

As a 16+ year-old team member, you should be comfortable with technology, have strong communication skills, and be able to learn on the job in a fast-paced store environment. This role starts October through January and supports store goals.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently
• Understand and meet customer needs: Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales
• Resolve customer concerns: Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible
• Communicate needs to management: Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner
• Support team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment
