Job summary

Kohl’s in Chicago is seeking an in-store associate to deliver friendly customer service and efficient checkout experiences. You will greet customers, process payments, and help maintain inventory with accuracy. This role supports training for new hires and participates in daily service operations, including cash balancing and replenishment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services; operate cash register and handle payment.
• Execute POS and customer service standards quickly and courteously.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Help train new hires on service team processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register and cash balancing, change orders, replenishment).
