Vince in Woodbury Commons, NY is seeking a dynamic, customer-service driven Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate for a temporary role in Central Valley, NY. You will generate sales, build client relationships, and maintain store visuals while supporting merchandising and POS operations.

The position emphasizes customer engagement, follow-up with clients, and contributing to a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales is preferred.
• Sales-driven, goal-oriented individual with a positive, high-energy personality.
• Willing to initiate contact with customers and identify shopping needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to use email, Word and Excel.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and handle merchandising tasks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals with the store manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise features and benefits to maximize sales.
• Identify customer needs and overcome objections with effective listening.
• Follow up with clients via phone, email, and written contact to develop relationships.
• Maintain store housekeeping and visual standards; operate POS and email systems.
• Protect inventory by following loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Adhere to store policies and client book management and clienteling.
• Participate in transfers and markdown processing as needed.
