Job summary

Vince in Woodbury Commons, NY is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Sales Associate for August through January. You will drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and maintain store visuals while assisting with merchandise receiving and markdowns.

The role requires reliability, retail experience is preferred, and you will use the POS system and email for follow-ups. Base pay is $18–$19 per hour, with commission on individual sales. The position is extended temporary with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for customer interactions.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry items up to 35 pounds when merchandising the floor.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals with the store manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge of product features and benefits to maximize sales opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and overcome objections to close sales.
• Follow up with clients via phone, email, or written contact to develop relationships.
• Maintain housekeeping and visual standards of the store.
• Operate the POS register and email systems.
• Safeguard store inventory per loss prevention policies.
• Follow all store policies and procedures.
• Manage client books and clienteling.
