Job description

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this includes:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Seasonal Associate roles include positions such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, and CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. Responsibilities support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, assisting with merchandise, and processing sales and returns. Specific duties vary by role but may include assembling merchandise, stocking, loading for customers, assisting shoppers, and handling transactions. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles depending on hiring needs.

Travel is not regular but may be required for meetings, training, or supporting nearby stores.

What We're Looking For:

• Hourly seasonal schedule typically between 10 to 40 hours, with potential for more based on store needs.
• Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day; Receiver/Stocker requires late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting (minimum 25 pounds, over 25 with assistance; 10 pounds for CSA Front End).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs: 6 months experience using a computer and handheld devices for data entry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months forklift/power equipment operation experience.
• CSAs: 6 months retail experience involving customer interaction, product knowledge, and problem resolution.

If required by local law, licensing or passing a test within 60 days of employment is necessary.
