Job summary

HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience across the store environment.

You will interact with customers, support merchandising and loss-prevention standards, and be cross-trained across areas to support business needs. Responsibilities include accurately handling purchases, promoting credit/loyalty programs, maintaining store standards, and participating in safety and shrink-reduction initiatives.

• Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and follows procedures and standards.
• Processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery.
• Maintains cleanliness and recovery standards for the sales floor and store.
• Provides and accepts feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
