Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a store associate to deliver a high level of customer service, maintain a clean and organized store, and support various store operations.

You may be cross-trained in multiple areas to meet business needs and uphold loss prevention standards. Responsibilities include accurately handling purchases, promoting credit programs, and assisting in merchandising and store recovery while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexible schedule to support business needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation
• Retail customer experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver outstanding customer experience in-store
• Follow and uphold operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards
• Ring customer purchases/returns accurately and process transactions
• Promote credit and loyalty programs
• Maintain merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for the floor
• Participate in store recovery and maintain store cleanliness
• Support safety initiatives and adherence to labor policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
