Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time, seasonal Retail Store - Cashier/Stocker in Orange, CA. You will manage fast, friendly checkouts, assist customers, and help unload trucks while keeping the floor stocked and organized.

You will engage shoppers about rewards and private label programs, support omni-channel options like BOPIS and SFS, and participate in merchandising tasks to ensure an in-stock, well-presented store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift/move boxes and merchandise as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly checkout experience and assist customers at the register.
• Complete truck unloading and restock merchandise to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Assist with planograms, store recovery, and product placement.
• Promote rewards and private label programs and enroll customers.
• Support omni-channel tasks including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Maintain store safety and shrink programs and adhere to SOPs.
