Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member at HartSdale, NY to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store. You will handle checkout, assist with truck unloading and stocking, and ensure planogram compliance while upholding brand promises.

The role involves standing long periods, moving throughout the store, and working nights, weekends and early mornings; retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise and store recovery; complete return/go back processes.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties; assist shrink and safety programs.
