Job summary

The Paper Store in Cranston, RI is seeking Seasonal Sales Associates to deliver world-class service, meet sales goals, and maintain merchandising standards in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, explain product features, process POS transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Prior specialty retail is preferred but not required, and hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in specialty retail is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as a TPS Champion by modeling the G.U.E.S.T. service approach and delivering World Class Service.
• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm.
• Understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions and explain product features.
• Suggest additional items to build onto sales using effective selling techniques.
• Maintain store maintenance and cleanliness standards and comply with dress code.
