Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Seasonal Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet customers, explain product styles, features and benefits, and help families select baby and children’s apparel that fits their needs and budget.

In a busy retail setting you’ll resolve issues with a positive, service-oriented approach, assist with omnichannel shopping, perform POS transactions, and keep the floor replenished and welcoming for every guest.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and engagement skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and explain product styles, features and benefits.
• Resolve issues proactively while balancing multiple customers.
• Assist with omnichannel shopping to ensure a positive experience.
• Execute point-of-sale transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipments as needed.
• Explain promotions and the loyalty program, including credit.
• Minimize loss with strong customer service and a clean store.
