Job summary

Kohl's in Wisconsin Dells is seeking an energetic Associate to deliver friendly customer service at the point of sale, greet customers, operate the cash register, scan items and bag merchandise while handling different payment methods.

You will follow Kohl's brand standards, support inventory accuracy, participate in daily service processes, help train new hires, and work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure fast, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: Client facing retail or service industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle different payment methods.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards based on company guidelines delivering courteous, fast and efficient service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Support the training process for new hires on the service team and teach best practices.
• Participate in daily service processes (register and cash balancing, change orders, replenishing supplies).
