Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate for the BALT-WHITEMARSH, MD location to deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products. You’ll handle checkout, assist with merchandise, and support store recovery to keep shelves and displays in top shape.

You’ll participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, learn the Voice of Customer programs, and help educate customers on rewards and credit options while adhering to SOPs and safety

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards and credit programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS & SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise returns/go-back process
• Perform In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact professionally with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
