Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Team Member to support store operations during peak periods. You will assist with merchandising, freight, front-end duties, and customer service across sales floor, stockroom, and receiving areas.

This seasonal role is temporary during peak times with no guarantee of ongoing employment. Opportunities may arise for regular part-time or full-time roles as openings occur.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Strong verbal, written, and comprehension skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and processes.
• Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and ethical behavior in all interactions with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, works with urgency, and executes responsibilities per company policies.

• Performs cashier and front-end duties, ensuring transactions are accurate and efficient while delivering a positive shopping experience.
• Processes freight; sorts, stocks, and replenishes merchandise per merchandising guidelines.
• Performs store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks inside and outside the building.
• Completes tasks and workload efficiently within timeframes.
• Supports customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, safety, and loss prevention.
• Performs other duties as assigned by business needs.
