Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital is seeking experienced Seasonal Registered Nurses for Med-Surg-Tele units. These temporary assignments run October 2026 through March 2027 and include a bonus for successful completion.

RNs will deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, and management of pain, lines and drains, in a supportive UHS system. Qualified candidates must have 1 year of medical/surgical experience, CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Stroke cert.

Qualifications

• One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license
• Current BLS certification - American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification - American Heart Association
• NIHSS Stroke Cert

Responsibilities

• Provide care on Med-Surg-Tele units and across the continuum of care
• Perform assessments, treatment and care on assigned units
• Manage pain, invasive lines and surgical drains
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in the nursing program

These seasonal positions are temporary assignments, working October 2026 through March 2027. Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

Seasonal Schedule Requirements:

Must work at least one holiday: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s

Must be scheduled for no less than four shifts per pay period

Job Requirements:

One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility REQUIRED.

Registered Nurse with current California RN license
Current BLS certification - American Heart Association

Current ACLS certification - American Heart Association

NIHSS Stroke Cert
