Job summary

Vail Health in Vail, Colorado is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the ICU, Nights schedule, October through April. This full-time seasonal role offers a night shift with rotating weekends and holidays, and the opportunity to care for a high-acuity orthopedic patient load in a state‑of‑the‑art ICU.

Seasonal staff receive housing assistance, a completion bonus, health insurance, wellness reimbursement, and retirement plan eligibility.

Pay

Hourly $37.90 – $60.45 USD

In this seasonal position (October/November – April) you will have the opportunity to embrace the winter wonderland of Vail, Colorado with world‑class skiing/snowboarding and the vibrant atmosphere of a top notch hospital with a strong orthopedic case load. What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for compassionate, patient- and family-centered care
• Experience:
  • One year of critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Certification(s):
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required.
    • CCRN preferred.
• Education: Minimum of an Associate Nursing Degree (for positions hired after 07/01/2018)
