Vail Health invites applications for a Seasonal Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift in beautiful Vail, Colorado. The role runs October through April and offers full-time night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, with housing support and seasonal bonuses.

The position requires Colorado RN licensure or a valid compact license, BLS/ACLS, and PALS or ENPC credentials, with CCRN preferred.

Seasonal Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (PCU) | Night Shift

Vail, Colorado | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts

In this seasonal position (October/November - April) you will have the opportunity to embrace the winter wonderland of Vail, Colorado with world-class skiing/snowboarding and the vibrant atmosphere of a top notch hospital with a strong orthopedic case load.

Our seasonal staff are eligible for Vail Health supported housing, season completion bonus, health insurance, wellness reimbursement credit ($300) and 403(b) retirement contribution eligibility.

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for compassionate, patient- and family-centered care
• Experience:
  • One year of critical care experience strongly preferred.
• License(s): Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a valid compact state required
• Certification(s):
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required.
    • CCRN preferred.
• Education: Minimum of an Associate Nursing Degree (for positions hired after 07/01/2018)
