Job summary

Storage Scholars, a premium student storage company, seeks a Regional On-site Moving Manager for the State College, PA market. This seasonal contract position lasts about 4 weeks and includes training, team meetings, and hands-on assessment in the final week.

You will work with Campus Teams Managers, log items in our software, lift and move belongings, and may drive box trucks in-town. Exceptional performers may be invited back for future operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to drive a box truck (UHaul/Penske).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to work full time during busy seasons (May-June, then August-Sept).
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to identify challenges and find practical solutions to moving operations.

Responsibilities

• Engage face-to-face with customers.
• Manage inventory of orders via our web portal.
• Load/unload belongings onto trucks.
• Operate trucks for in-town transportation.
• Organize and arrange orders at the storage facility.
• Deliver stored items back to student customers.
• Assist Campus Teams Manager with moving operations.
