Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Direct Deposit participation required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-time, career seasonal, and/or temporary employees on a regular basis, highest subordinate grade GS-05.
  • Serve as front-line, uniformed representative of the NPS, answering visitor questions and explaining recreational opportunities.
  • Perform assignments related to collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fee revenue.
  • Review and verify the functionality of new fee-related systems or modifications.
  • Provide informal and formal training to employees and partners regarding fee processes and systems.
