Job summary

Duties include training staff, handling cash, and ensuring compliance with regulations under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act. The role requires working on-call evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime, with potential shift work according to agency needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fee collection program guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to coordinate work in a small team and manage logistics.
• Experience coordinating visitor services with other refuge program areas.
• Strong oral communication with the public, vendors, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and institute correct procedures for fee collection in the field.
• Train/lead others to collect fees in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Operate cash handling equipment and POS systems under stress.
• Develop and implement fee collection SOPs to ensure integrity and accountability.
