Mass Department of Conservation and Recreation in Boston is seeking a Seasonal Recreation Facilities Supervisor I for the Bajko Memorial Rink. The assignment runs from 11/15/26 to 4/11/27 and offers full-time schedule during the winter season.

Duties include maintenance, cleaning, snow removal, fee collection, record-keeping, and public information. CPR/First Aid certifications are required and weekend/holiday work may be needed.

Qualifications

• CPR certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Standard First Aid and Personal Safety Certificate issued by the American Red Cross

Responsabilités

• Performs maintenance tasks to assure a well maintained, safe and clean facility (including restroom cleaning, building cleaning and snow removal) and works with staff on projects as needed.
• Patrols recreational areas and facilities to maintain security and ensure compliance with rules and policies.
• Collects and accounts for all fees on shift and reports income daily through the DCR system.
• Maintains records and prepares reports concerning assigned work for information and recommendations.
• Operates and performs routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles and assists the public with information.
• Provides accurate information to park visitors about park activities and services.
• The position may require working weekends and/or holidays at the supervisor’s discretion.
