What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Positions and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, and CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by:

• Greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting them in locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise.
• Completing specific key responsibilities based on the role, such as assembling merchandise, stocking, loading, assisting customers, and processing sales and returns.

This list is not exhaustive, and associates may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Typically scheduled for 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required.
• Availability: Must be available in the morning, afternoon, and evening any day of the week, with specific requirements for Receiver/Stocker roles.
• Physical Ability: Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting (minimum 25 pounds, with some roles requiring lifting over 25 pounds).

Minimum Qualifications

For Assemblers & Receiver/Stockers: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic. For CSAs: 6 months of experience with computers and handheld devices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating forklift/power equipment for Assemblers & Receiver/Stockers; 6 months retail experience for CSAs, including customer service and sales skills.

If required by state or local law, applicants must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
