What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate may serve as an Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, or CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All roles support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific responsibilities vary by role:

• Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
• Distributing and stocking merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
• Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
• Assisting with shopping needs (CSA Sales Floor)
• Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive, and duties may be assigned as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles based on store needs.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel to meetings, trainings, or neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal schedule typically ranges from 10 to 40 hours; more hours may be required.
• Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week; Receiver/Stocker role requires late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, sitting, and lifting (minimum 25 pounds, possibly more; 10 pounds for CSA Front End).

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker roles require basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• CSAs require 6 months of experience using a computer and a handheld device to input and access information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of forklift/power equipment operation experience.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience in customer service, product knowledge, and sales.

Applicants may need to obtain a salesperson license if required by local regulations within 60 days of employment.
