What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Additional Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate may hold roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, or CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, which includes greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific key responsibilities vary by role and may include:

• Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
• Distributing and stocking merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
• Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
• Assisting with shopping needs (CSA Sales Floor)
• Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive, and associates may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be necessary.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Generally scheduled 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required.
• Availability: Must be available for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week, with Receiver/Stocker roles requiring late evening, night-time, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as prolonged standing and lifting (minimum 25 pounds, with or without assistance; 10 pounds for CSA Front End).

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience with computers and handheld devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of forklift/power equipment operation experience.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience including customer service, product knowledge, and issue resolution.

If required by the state or local municipality, candidates must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
