What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Positions and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, and CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Each role has specific key responsibilities, for example:

• Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
• Distributing and stocking merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
• Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
• Assisting with shopping needs (CSA Sales Floor)
• Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive; seasonal associates may be asked to assist with other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or support to neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Typically scheduled for 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required based on store needs.
• Availability: Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week, except Receiver/Stocker which requires late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand, sit, and perform activities necessary for job duties, including lifting at least 25 pounds (over 25 pounds with assistance, except CSA Front End), and 10 pounds (over 10 pounds with assistance, only for CSA Front End).

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): 6 months experience with computers (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting data) and handheld devices (mobile phones, scanners, tablets).

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment.
• CSAs: 6 months retail experience involving customer interaction, product sales, and service.

If required by state or local law, applicants must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
