Job summary

Eataly Flatiron is seeking a Seasonal Quick Service Sales Associate to provide exceptional guest service across its QSR counters, including gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis and more. This role reports to the QSR General Manager and offers to work in a fast-paced marketplace.

The position is onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Base pay is $17.50 per hour plus tips, and the season runs mid-October through the first week of January.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides service across all QSR counters
• Completes food preparation assignments neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
• Sets up stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens
• Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
• Prepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products
• Complies with department policies and quality, health, safety and sanitation standards
• Operates a cash register and ensures accuracy of cash drops
• Performs other duties as required
• Outstanding communication and guest service skills
• Experience operating a cash register preferred
• Prior food service experience preferred
