Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal supervisor to oversee warehouse workgroups focused on safety, production, and attendance. The role emphasizes maintaining high standards of accuracy, customer service, and organizational efficiency while fostering a collaborative team environment.

The candidate will facilitate training, ensure compliance with all safety policies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across shifts. Strong communication and prior supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (oral and written) required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent and some management experience.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment and proactive communication.
• Implements individual development plans to support ongoing growth of staff.
