Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Seasonal Operations Assistant for 309 Green in Champaign, IL. The role supports the maintenance team during turnover periods and special projects, coordinating with vendors and staff to ensure smooth unit readiness and adherence to ACC policies.

You will assist with on-site vendor oversight, audits, quality checks, and turnover prep, while providing excellent customer service to residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and unit make-ready duties.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks and use basic tools.
• Ability to understand and follow MSDS rules for handling chemicals.
• Ability to drive a golf cart.

Responsibilities

• accompany vendors on-site as needed for turnover and projects.
• assist in audits, damage walks, and vendor completion lists.
• perform quality checks to ensure market-ready units or areas.
• prep units/bedspaces for occupancy during turnover per company standards.
• follow the American Campus key policy and safety guidelines.
• assist with moving and storing supplies and general setup tasks.
• participate in routine property inspections and staff meetings.
