Chesapeake Utilities Corporation in Georgetown, DE seeks a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to safely operate delivery equipment, deliver propane, and perform inspections. This role supports customers with timely, safe service and requires a CDL B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

You will document deliveries, manage paperwork, assist in maintenance, and participate in company safety programs. The position offers a competitive base salary, bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related propane delivery experience preferred.
• Valid CDL B license with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements.
• Working knowledge of bulk plant and bulk truck equipment.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles, telephones, calculators, and hand/power tools.
• Occasional evenings and weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and delivery equipment safely.
• Deliver propane gas.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Document inspections and actions for exceptions.
• Prepare and maintain required DOT documentation.
• Record deliveries and meter readings accurately.
• Handle payments and disconnect gas service as directed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report unsafe conditions.
