Job summary

Tri Gas & Oil is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver for Tasley, Virginia. This seasonal role runs roughly six months (October through March) and involves delivering propane to customers while prioritizing safety, customer service, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspection, on-time deliveries in all weather, and clear communication with customers. CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required to qualify.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Air Brakes endorsement preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience on a propane or tanker route.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test, and Homeland Security background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customer locations following safety procedures.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report issues per policy and DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and driving conditions.
• Maintain teamwork and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

The Propane Delivery Driver position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations. This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Teamwork. Making deliveries in all types of weather and conditions. This job operates in the field, and you will be entering the customers’ homes and/or place of business. Working in hot attics or cold places must always provide an excellent and positive attitude toward the customer. While performing the duties of this job in the field, the employee is occasionally exposed to small working spaces, fumes, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions due to weather.
