Job summary

Twin Valley Coffee is seeking a Production Team Member for our Production Headquarters in Elverson, PA. This seasonal position covers roughly October 19 through January 8, with potential date adjustments.

You will help prep, weigh, and bag coffee, follow proprietary guidelines, and support other production areas as needed. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions, lift bags, and work safely in a team, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and processing areas.
• Label coffee bags according to the day’s work order.
• Weigh or grind beans per the work order.
• Blend roasts or flavors per guidelines.
• Seal bags and store them properly.
• Assist other production departments as needed.
• Document bagging and sanitation under health and safety plan.
• Monitor equipment and adjust as necessary.
• Communicate with supervisor and team for efficiency.

Twin Valley Coffee is a family-owned business focused on roasting and serving delicious coffee. We hope that by working with us you’ll experience coffee in a new way. We are passionate about creating a supportive community space in our cafes and all of our work spaces.
Twin Valley Coffee is looking for a Production Team Member to join the team at our Production Headquarters located in Elverson, PA. This position is intended to be for a season only. Ideally, this would cover at least October 19 - January 8th, but the dates could be adjusted as needed. If you are an organized person who is able to pay attention to details and follow instructions, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, processing areas, containers, etc.
• Label coffee bags according to the shipment for the day’s work order list
• Weigh or grind the beans according to the day’s work order list
• Blend specific roasts or flavoring by proprietary guidelines
• Seal bags and store them in the appropriate location
• Assist other production departments with various tasks as needed
• Document bagging and sanitation under our health and safety plan and manager specifications
• Monitor production equipment and make adjustments as necessary
• Communicate well with supervisor and other team members to make sure all job functions are operating efficiently
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all team members
• Follow all safety precautions

Physical Requirements

• Handle and move objects, including coffee beans, equipment, etc.
• Lift and carry up to 50lbs, potentially assist with lifting up to 100lbs

• Finger and arm dexterity for manipulating equipment and other objects
• Able to see objects at close or far distances
• General physical activities such as standing for long periods of time, stooping, twisting, lifting, carrying, or walking
