Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a production worker to support daily manufacturing operations. You will perform safety checks, handle forklift duties, and ensure materials are ready and available across shifts.

Heavy lifting and extended standing are required, with overtime including weekends and holidays. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year in a production environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass the minimum fit for duty physical (annually).
• Able to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and be on their feet for 8-12 hours.
• Minimum of one year of production plant experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform a safety check of equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Complete daily assignments as directed by team lead or supervisor.
• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Maintain stock of needed materials and ensure availability.
• Learn multiple pieces of automated equipment and move between work stations.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors about line performance.
• Perform manufacturing inspections to ensure plant quality standards.
