Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking seasonal team members in our Grocery, Guest Service, Early Morning Production, Produce, Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood departments in Massachusetts. The role offers seasonal employment with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Pay ranges from $16.54 to $17.25 per hour. Candidates should be at least 16 years old (18 for Deli/Bakery/Produce) and have a passion for exceptional guest service. Experience in retail or hospitality is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age or at least 18 years of age in our Deli, Bakery, Produce.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide excellent guest service, including engaging with guests to learn their wants and needs so that you can help them create their meal solution.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day, while also making sure nearby guests are assisted.
• Properly weighing and scanning of product, cash handling, and providing change where appropriate.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and assist in general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Slice and prepare a variety of the department’s meat, cheeses, and convenient meal solutions throughout the day, while maintaining quality product levels.
• Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards.
