HomeGoods, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences in our New Bern, NC store. You will engage with customers, ring transactions, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor while supporting store safety and loss-prevention programs.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, flexibility, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Possesses excellent customer service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

• Retail customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers a highly satisfied customer experience through engagement with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment
• Rings customer purchases/returns and handles cash accurately
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Prepares and processes merchandise for the sales floor
• Participates in store recovery, safety, and loss prevention initiatives
• Supports and adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
