Job summary

BoxLunch & Hot Topic is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, share fandom knowledge, stock and merchandise the store, and focus on creating an engaging in-store experience for fans.

You’ll cover sales floor duties, process transactions, and support merchandising while collaborating with the team to drive sales and maintain store standards. This seasonal role requires passion for pop culture and great teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to navigate a store and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience and drive repeat visits through product knowledge and service.
• Cover sales floor zones and maintain visual standards.
• Operate the register and process sales, including add-on sales with options like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram updates, store maps, fixtures and merchandising mix.
• Share fashion trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Help prevent theft and maintain store security around spells and wizardry.
• Support stock room organization and keep the store tidy.
• Demonstrate team spirit and collaborate with teammates to complete tasks.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
