Job summary

The City of Maypearl seeks a seasonal, part-time Pool Manager to lead daily operations and maintenance of the City Pool. You will supervise lifeguards and instructors, schedule staff, register Red Cross swim classes, and coordinate pool rentals while ensuring safety rules are followed and documented.

Qualifications include current CPO or NRPA AFO credentials, prior pool management experience preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CPO (Pool Operator) credential from PHTA or NRPA AFO credential.
• One year of pool manager or assistant pool manager experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work effectively and courteously with the public; manage staff and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership while maintaining effective relationships with employees, supervisors, other agencies and the public.
• Supervise lifeguards and water safety instructors; schedule and supervise.
• Oversee registration and operation of Red Cross swim classes and pool rentals.
• Purchase supplies and process time sheets; schedules and staff management.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are enforced and emergencies are handled.
