A leading entertainment company seeks a Seasonal Pool Maintenance Technician to ensure safety and maintenance of pool areas at Six Flags New England. Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or older with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the job.

  • Testing pool water and adjusting chemistry to meet standards.
  • Maintaining the filtration and circulation systems.
  • Performing daily opening and closing procedures for the pool.

As a Seasonal Pool Maintenance Technician at the Six Flags New England...

You'll contribute to our mission by:

  • Testing the pool-water and make any necessary adjustments in water chemistry to meet the standards
  • Maintaining the filtration/circulation systems, including regular backwashing of the filter media and cleaning of the hair strainers and skimmer baskets
  • Maintaining the general pool area, and making any necessary minor repairs to insure the safety of the public
  • Informing the Senior Water Technician when supplies and chemicals are needed
  • Taking appropriate steps in the event of a shut-down due to weather or other unplanned conditions
  • Performing daily opening, operating, and closing procedures

  • Friendly, outgoing personality, and ability to address team member concerns
  • Ability to see a full range of color for pool chemical testing

You'll know you're ready if you are:

  • Willing to work in a high performance team environment
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
  • Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • 18 years old or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving history
