Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager at Westfield Old Orchard in Skokie, IL to help lead the team and create magical holiday memories. You will support daily photo operations, motivate the seasonal staff, drive sales and guest service excellence, and ensure every family enjoys a memorable Santa visit and photo experience.

The role offers flexible scheduling, same-day pay options, and opportunities to grow within our souvenir photography division.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Must be comfortable in a cash handling/sales transaction position.
Ability to lead a team, work independently, and make sound decisions.
Availability to attend required pre-season training and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

Promote a positive, collaborative environment and uphold company policies.
Support opening-day preparations, including hiring, inventory, equipment setup, and scheduling.
Capture photos and help guests choose memorable souvenirs.
Resolve guest concerns to ensure a positive experience.
Lead by example and reinforce procedures from senior management.
Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed.
Assist the Local Manager with inventory, scheduling, training, and recruiting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
