Job summary

Bay Paws Pet Resort in the Tampa Bay area is seeking Temporary Boarding Assistants to support our team during the peak holiday season (late Oct through early Jan). This seasonal role focuses on facility sanitation, laundry, kitchen, and yard upkeep to ensure our guests receive top-tier care.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintaining organized spaces.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable around dogs and/or cats.

Responsibilities

• High-volume cleaning of boarding suites, yards, and common areas.
• Laundry and kitchen support for pet guests and team.
• Yard upkeep and waste/debris removal in outdoor spaces.
• Assist care team by setting up suites with beds, blankets and bowls.

Looking to earn extra income over the holiday season? Want to get your foot in the door at Tampa Bay's premier luxury pet resort? Bay Paws Pet Resort is hiring Temporary Boarding Assistants to help support our team during our busiest time of the year (late October through early January)!

This seasonal position focuses on facility support—keeping our boarding suites, yards, laundry, and kitchen areas clean, sanitized, and organized so our pet guests receive top-tier care. Plus, high-performing seasonal team members have the potential to be hired permanently or cross-trained into year-round pet care roles after the holidays!

Key Responsibilities

• High-Volume Cleaning: Pressure-wash, sanitize, and reset boarding suites for arriving holiday guests.
• Laundry & Kitchen Support: Run continuous loads of laundry, manage pet dishes, and keep pet belongings organized.
• Yard Upkeep: Keep outdoor play yards clear of waste and debris.
• Assist the Care Team: Help set up suites with beds, blankets, and water bowls so pets feel right at home.
