Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a seasonal per diem role in Florida. The RN will provide patient-centered care, plan and direct nursing services, and ensure accurate documentation within a holistic care framework.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, adherence to standards, and acting as an educator to patients and colleagues. Requires Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS; NIHSS training is a plus. Shifts minimum three per week between Oct 2026 and May 2027.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• The RN plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care while providing a holistic view.
• Assessment involves the orderly collection of information to develop a comprehensive Standard of Care to meet identified patient care outcomes and evaluate effectiveness of a nursing plan of care.
• Established nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures will be followed in administering nursing care.
• Initial assessments provide a baseline for future comparisons that can be made in order to individualize care.
• Ongoing assessment and reassessment are required to meet the patient’s changing needs.
• RN ensures accurate documentation, adequate supplies and is knowledgeable in operation of equipment.
• The RN has a responsibility to acts as educator to their peers, patients, and their families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
